When the client and the artist agree to the terms of the contract, the artist begins carving the model. The first clay model is a work-changing model that was created before the larger clay monument. The miniature model allows us to develop the right positioning, invite feedback for custom statues, and refine details. The model will have all the major proportions and details of future custom bronze statues.
Once the customer approves the small model artist begins to expand the clay into a full-size custom statue or custom Bronze Sculptures. Additional payments are required for each milestone in the custom statue process. Sculptors use the precise calculations and measurements of small models to create a full-size clay statue. Customers are welcome to visit the studio for personal statue review. After the customer finally approves the full-size custom sculpture of the clay, it is transported to the bronze foundry for the lost wax bronze modern landscape sculpture process.
Highly skilled technicians use the lost wax method to convert clay models into Bronze Sculptures (lost wax). First, the foundry made the statue of the precision silicone mold. This technique captures all the details of a large clay statue. These molds are used to produce wax molds for future custom bronze statues. Immerse the wax mold in fine ceramics until it is painted wax like.
Before pouring the hot molten bronze into the mold, heat the part of the ceramic mold to melt the wax. When each part is cast in bronze, the parts are assembled and welded together to construct a bronze statue. Our artist will personally supervises and approves the foundry process to ensure the highest quality of her custom large bronze monuments and exquisite custom bronze portraits. Our artist has a wealth of architectural and landscape design backgrounds, so she can work with your architect or maintenance staff to properly install and protect your unique custom bronze statue. Custom bronze statues or bronze monuments will be boxed and transported.
