The resin techniques are popular in sculpture industry today. The main raw material, resin can be made into sculptures through a set of specific process. Resin crafts are very common in our daily life. Here are the production process of making a small resin sculpture also called the Resin Figurines as followings.

The first step, weigh out the appropriate unsaturated liquid resin, pour it into a bucket according to the size and required quantities of the figurines, then add the curing agent in proportion into, fully stirring to blend.  

The second step, add required amount of coloring material into the mixing, remembering keep fully stirring. After a while of stirring, evenly pour it into the material bucket and keep stirring. The blended dense liquid should be thick so that it can flow slowly after being spooned up.

The third step, place the mold flat on desk in horizontal state,keep in mind that the inside of the mold should be cleaned. Pour the liquid in from the highest point, make it flow naturally and slowly, so that the air bubbles can be squeezed out, or there will be bubbles inside. Try not overflow the mold by accident. Once the liquid is out the mold, clean and remove immediately, otherwise it needs to be polished again when solidified.

Solidity of the figurine. After the material is poured into the mold, waiting it be solidified in 1 to 2 hours, and then de-mould carefully.

Here is the production process of making an easy Resin Figurine. In addition to making cartoon figurines, the material resin are multi-purpose, widely used to making cartoon characters, various-sized customized decorations or sculptress, outdoor resin models, statue decorations for canteen, shopping mall or kindergarten, mascots statue and so on as long as you can imagine. So the application of resin materials are actually very versatile, and there is still room to develop. In the future, resin will also be more widely used surely.
